The RYC Cruising Fleet contains a good mix of Power Boaters and Non-Racing Sail Boaters. Additionally, many of the racers take some time off during the year to join the RYC Club Cruise. The Club Cruise is normally around the 4th of July holiday and includes visits to several ports around the lake.
The Cruising Fleet supports many activities, both on and off shore during the year.
On the Water Activities Include:
- Boat Safety Inspections by the Rochester Power Squadron
- First Mate Program for Crew Preparation
- The RYC Club Cruise
- Mini 3 and 4 Day Weekend Cruises (great for 1st timers)
- RYC Ride Program - Matching those Without Boats to those RYC Members who can Offer Rides
During the Colder Months, Off the Water:
- Cruising Presentations by Fellow Members
- Southern Winter Rendezvous
