The House Committee has asked the Club staff to enforce the restriction of cellular phone usage in the dining room.
Additionally, we request that you inform your guests of the policy prior to their joining you at the Club. Ringers on cell phones should be set to vibrate so as to not disturb other members and their guests. The use of picture phones or camera phones is prohibited on Club property, with the exception of locations within a private party area. The House Committee has agreed upon the following policy:
In light of recent technological advances concerning cellular telephones and similar devices, Club Members and Guests are hereby prohibited from using the digital photograph component of cellular telephones while on Club property. Use of this feature includes, but is not limited to, collecting and storing digital images of any kind. This policy is designed to protect the privacy rights of Club Members and Guests as well as the proprietary rights of the Club.
As it is with photographs, the exception for private parties is limited to locations within the party area for which the host has discretion.
Thank you for your compliance with this rule. |
