Private Parties & WEDDINGS
The Rochester Yacht Club will be happy to reserve space for your wedding, shower, company function, or any other event. We will assist you in planning at all levels.
The menu possibilities are endless. The policies listed below have been developed to ensure the quality and success of your banquet. Please call or email Club Manager Mary Smith at 342-5511 ext. 17 or email@example.com to reserve a date for your special event.
A deposit is required for all events at the time of confirmation. The deposit amount will be determined by the Club Manager, is non-refundable and will be credited to your final bill. A deposit of $1,000.00 is required to reserve the Conewago Room for a Saturday Event. The deposit is non-refundable and will be credited to your final bill.
All banquet plans must be finalized at least 10 days in advance. A final count is necessary two days prior to the function and this number will be used as a guarantee. All functions cancelled within 24 hours will be charged at full cost.
Banquet prices quoted in advance are subject to change with notice given up to one month prior to the event.
Service Charge & Sales Tax:
All items are subject to an 18% gratuity and 8% sales tax, unless tax exempt. A Tax Exemption Certificate must be on file before the scheduled day of the event.
Table linens (cloths and napkins) are included in the price of all menus and may be chosen from the following list of colors:
Tablecloths: White, Ivory, Pink, Burgundy, Forest Green, Navy Blue, and Black
Napkins: White, Ivory, Pink, Burgundy, Forest Green, Royal Blue, Black, Red, Navy, Gold, Seafoam Green, Light Blue, Purple, Lavender, Teal, Mauve, and Gray.
No food or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought into any banquet rooms by any guest without prior approval of the Club Manager. A room rental fee will be charged any time the food and beverage minimum for the room is not met. Additional set up charges may be applied for any exceptional arrangements requested.
No material or decorations may be attached to walls or wood trim by pins, staples, tape, or glue. Confetti, glitter, or open candle floral arrangements must be approved in advance.
All Private Parties that would like use of a Bar must have a Private Bar. The Main Bar may be used only by Club Members and cannot accept cash or credit cards. All Private Bars have the option of having an open bar and/or cash bar.
